Sometimes rest eludes me, like a toddler stealing a tv remote {yes, I’m a mommy of three}!
Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines “rest” as, “freedom from activity or labor”, and “peace of mind or spirit”.
If you know me well, you know that I’m very careful not to over-schedule my children.
Don’t “pin a rose on my nose”, because as God continues to reveal His heart to me, I’m realizing that I still fall into over scheduling me. Yes, me! Honestly, it happens very easily.

Amy, I loved this article on Keeping it Personal. As a runner I know first hand that rest fuels running. God knew we needed rest for fuel.
Hi Shannon!
I love that! It’s so true. As you and I rest our muscles from our previous run, we get the opportunity to rest our souls with Him! AWESOME sister! Thank you for sharing! ~ Blessings, Amy
